Betty Woods, 65 of Elizabeth, WV passed away January 25, 2025, at the WVU Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.

Born in Prestonburg, KY. , she was the daughter of the late William Craft (stepfather) and Shirlene Woods.

She loved shopping and watching soap operas.

She is survived by her companion of 32 years Donald Shephard, her children Charmaine (David) Gayheart, Jesse William (Jamie Watson) Woods, and Maria Woods.

Grandchildren Zackary Wright, Tiffany Wright, Cassandra Blackburn, Shyann Boyd, Natasha Gayheart, Savannah Gayheart, David Anthony Gayheart. Twin brother Robbie (Lucy) Woods, Step sisters Linda and Gladys, ex husband Jesse Woods, niece and nephew Brian Woods and Amanda Knox.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 1 at the Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth, WV with Pastor Leary Vanhorn officiating.   Visitation will be at 12:00 to 1:00 and the funeral at 1:00 pm.
