Bobby Jo Bibbee Crites, 42, of Mineral Wells WV, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 8, 2024, at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born Sept. 16, 1981, the daughter of Mike and Debbie Bibbee. A 2000 graduate of Wirt County High School, she worked for 20 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield Highmark before changing jobs and becoming a rural mail carrier for the United State Post Office, out of the Mineral Wells branch. Bobby loved her job as a mail carrier, talking to the customers on her route and her friends at the post office. Bobby enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, hunting and on-line games.

In addition to both her parents, she will be dearly missed by her husband Darin Crites; children Makenzie Blevins, Kaiden Blevins, step-daughters Kaylynn Crites and Lauren Cottrille (Tyler); sister Nicky Bibbee Hall (Johnny); step-grandchildren Maddox and Nova Lee; special friends Mark and Brenda Powell and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donnie and Hellen Fought and Charles and Patty Bibbee, uncles Chuck Fought and Charles Bibbee Jr, and Aunt Suellen Downs.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV, with the Rev. John Watkins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 11:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be at West Cemetery on Camp Barbe Rd. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the Wirt County Fair Association, PO Box 792, Elizabeth, WV 26143. Matheny Whited Funeral Home was honored to assist the Crites family.
