Charlotte "Kay" Arnold, 70, of Elizabeth, WV., passed away March 7, 2025, at home surrounded by her family after battling a short stint with Parkinson's disease. She was born Feb. 26, 1955, in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Donald and Pearlina Hickman.

She graduated from Wirt County Highschool in 1973, graduated West Virginia Tech in 1977, worked at Borg Warner as a Programmer Analyst, and married John L. Arnold January 19, 1980. She loved and spoke so fondly of mowing, raking windrows, and putting up hay with her dad.

Kay was a devoted mother and wife who selflessly put everyone before herself and put God first in everything she did. Her family is saddened that she's not going to be part of their daily lives and memories, but they take ease in knowing that she accepted Christ as her personal savior in her early teens. We know that she is in heaven walking with Jesus and better off than any of us left behind. We sure will miss her here on earth playing Rook into the wee hours of the morning, holiday gatherings with family that she loved so much, laughs and snuggles with grandkids, playing at the creek, planting tips and gardening advice, picking spring strawberries, eating pickled corn together, and so many other cherished memories.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John L. Arnold; children, Jeff Arnold of Elizabeth, WV, Kelly Snider (Nick) of Palestine, WV, and Allen Arnold of Palestine, WV; grandchildren, Lauren Snider, Rachel Arnold, Derek Snider, Amber Arnold, and Sarah Arnold.

As per Kay's wishes, no services will take place, and she will be buried alongside her parents at K of P Cemetery, Elizabeth, WV
