Cindy Taylor 67, of Newark WV, passed away February 10, 2026, at WVU Medical Center Parkersburg WV after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Ruby Leggett.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family and friends. when she lived in Warren Ohio, she was a Sunday school teacher at Light House tabernacle and enjoyed watching old movies and anything outside, loved watching the birds.

She will be dearly missed by her children Ben Taylor, Veronica Frye (Nick) and Kaitlyn Shrader. Grandchildren Nathan Frye, Emily Shrader, Asa Shrader and Damian Taylor. Siblings Mike Leggett (Sue), Virgil Leggett (Jill) and Debbie Leggett.

In addition to both her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Patty Anderson.

Servies will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV, Visitation will be 2 Hours Prior to the services. Interment will follow at Snyder Chapel Cemetery in Calhoun County.
