Debra Fawn Valentine, 73, of Charleston, WV, passed away November 18, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston WV.  She was born in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late William and Willie Mae Lacy. She worked for several years at Kmart in Charleston, WV, until they closed, she retired from NGK Spark Plug Plant in Pocatalico, WV, after 24 years of service. Debra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, decorating for the holidays, shopping and going out to eat with friends.

She will be dearly missed by her children: William Carte (Wendy), Robert Carte (Jason Duncan), Danielle Carte and Taylor Valentine (Lisa); stepdaughter Nyoka Valentine, daughter of the heart Grace Casdorph-Taylor and sons of the heart Robert Smith and Louis Dickson; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and brother Jack Montgomery (Thelma).

In accordance with her wishes there will be no services.
