Floyd E. Anderson, 89, of Elizabeth, WV, passed away May 12, 2024.  He was the son of the late Rufus and Carolyn Hunt Anderson. Born in Belleville, WV, he attended Belleville School. He was active in land surveying and construction all over the Ohio Valley.  He was the last surviving member of the construction crew that built the Memorial Toll Bridge between Parkersburg, WV, and Belpre, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and outdoor living.  He is survived by his siblings Howard Anderson and Evalyn Anderson, his nephew Floyd Anderson, his sister-in-law Maxine Anderson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per his wishes there will be no service and will have a private burial at the Anderson Family Cemetery, Belleville, WV.  Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, WV, was honored to assist the Anderson Family.
