Gary Gregg, 88, of Walker, WV, passed away July 4, 2023, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center.  He was the son of the late Nile Gregg and Ruby Gump Jenkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Donna Jean Gregg; his son Scott Gregg; his siblings Paul Gregg, Jan Harp, Bob Gregg and Barb Jenkins.

He was self-employed as a mechanic, often referred to as "the transmission man.". He enjoyed bluegrass music, milk, his fur babies – dog Mary Ann, cats Tag and Fat Cat.

He is survived by his daughters Deanna "Sis" (Mark) Trahan, Beverly Lopreste, Terry Skinner and Cheryl Gregg; his sons Timothy Goodrich, Charlie Goodrich and Larry Gregg; Siblings Phyllis Price, Glenda Long, Lee Smith, Nancy Wolfe and Steve Jenkins; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.  Matheny Whited Funeral Home was honored to assist the Gregg family.
