Gerold Robinson, 70, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 13, 2026.

He was born September 14, 1955, to the late Rouvello and Etta (Edwards) Robinson.

Gerold was a 1975 graduate of Wirt County High School. He retired from Benson Truck Bodies after 20 years of service and also owned and operated a small engine repair shop at his home in Newark. He enjoyed working and tinkering on things, hunting, fishing, and collecting his many treasures.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, R.T. Robinson, Floyd Edwards, Franklin Edwards, Mary Robinson,Theodore Robinson, and Francis Hamilton

He is survived by his companion of numerous years, Connie Roberts; his children, Gannon Robinson (Sharalyn), Brittany Smith (Tim), Beau Robinson, and Richard Goff; his siblings, Anna Haney, Rose Voegele, and Mike Robinson (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Brighton Robinson, Kaelyn Robinson, Colbin Smith, Maverick Smith, and Phoenix Robinson.

Per his wishes, Gerold will be cremated.
