James H. Tucker Jr. 66, of Elizabeth WV passed away Jan. 19, 2024, at his residence.
He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, the son of the late James H Sr. and Virginia Tucker.
After high school, he served in the United States Air Force for 12 years.
Worked for the Department of Health and Human service in Texas as a secretary for a few years before moving to Wirt County with his husband Timothy A. Bailey.
James enjoyed making pens, singing, cooking, and playing the piano.
In addition to his husband, he will be dearly missed by a special aunt Vertie Zappy,

Special cousins Jimmy McIntyre, Viola Ann Violet and Freddy Robinson, niece Jamie Rinchuso, and nephew Christopher Rinchuso. Aunt Leona Phillips. James Fred Robinson Jr (Freddy) oldest living cousin, Viola Ann Robinson (Violet) oldest living female cousin.
In addition to both his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Debra Kay Rinchuso.
Maternal grandparents Vade Grissom and Lee Phillips Sr. Aunts and uncles: Veneer (Glen E.) McEntire, Herman Zappe, Varnie (Alvin) Amalavage, Viola (James Fred Sr.) Robinson, Lee (Nadine) Phillips Jr., and Lawrence Allen Phillips.
No services will be held at this time.
