Judith E Dorsey Scott, 75, of Elizabeth, WV, passed away Jan. 25, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her children. She was born in 1948 the daughter of the late William and Edna Gay (Ruble) Goff.

Judy was a 1966 graduate of Wirt County High School, a member of God's House of Worship of Elizabeth, worked for several years at Cardinal Market in the deli, Wirt Inflatables of Elizabeth, and volunteered at the Hope Shop. Judy enjoyed sewing, cooking, watching birds and traveling, but most of all Judy loved the Lord and serving him.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Leonard Scott; children Jodie Summers (Joshua Jones), William "Tony" Summers (Chrissy) and stepdaughter Erin Scott; grandchildren Marley Summers (Alex Pickens), Jacob Summers, Nathaniel Summers, and Matthew Summers; great-grandchildren Adrianna Rogers, Ryder Rogers, Jorden Scott; siblings Neva Quick, Shirley Nay, Roger Goff, Glen "Punk" Goff and Victor Goff and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to both her parents she was preceded in death by a husband Willard Dorsey, sister Carolyn "June" Greenwalt, brothers William Goff, Gary Goff, Charlie Goff, Darrell Goff and Wayne Goff.

Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home, Elizabeth. Visitation will be 4-6 PM, Tuesday Jan. 30, 2024. Burial will be at Two Ripple Cemetery of Elizabeth.  Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth was honored to assist the Scott family.
