Kathy Higgins, 62, of Elizabeth, WV, passed away July 14, 2024, at WVU Camden Clark Hospital. She was a graduate of Wirt County High School, Kathy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother She was a Christian and enjoyed studying her Bible. She will be dearly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her mother Carol Wriston and stepfather Tom Wriston, she is survived by her sons Daniel Higgins, David (Dana) Higgins, and Kevin (Sheryl) Higgins. Her daughters Linda Chisler and Tina (James) Dailey. Her grandchildren, Dillan, Max, Rachel, Crystal, Erica, Justin, Taylor and Grabriel, as well as many great grandchildren. Her brothers Shane (Angie) Murphy, Scott (Karen) Murphy, and Mark Murphy. There were many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Murrell Murphy and her husband David "Butch" Higgins. She was loved more than would ever know.

A memorial service will be held at the family farm at a later date. Matheny Whited Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with her arrangements.
