Larry Jacob Koehler, 69, of Palestine WV, passed away June 5, 2024. Larry was born Dec. 2, 1954, to Bob and Mildred Koehler.

He was most recently a carpet layer by trade. He was well known for his love of horses and especially loved barrel racing. Had a love for hunting, fishing, and especially gardening, he was known to have a large garden each summer loaded with the biggest and best tomatoes around. Larry loved to can and share his bounty with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Amy (Randy) Affolter and son Larry Robert Koehler. grandchildren Brooklyn Affolter and Tanner Cox, ex-wife Betty "Robin" Koehler and his faithful dog, Buddy. In addition to both his parents he was preceded in death by sister Pam Draper.

A Celebration of Larry's Life will be Held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 5:00PM at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Mineral Wells, WV. Pastor Shawn Law will officiate followed by music, memories and a meal to be shared by all. the family invites everyone to join them in Celebrating Larrys life.
