Mary Lou Pursley 92, of Sandyville, WV, passed away March 26, 2025, at WVU Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.  She was the daughter of the Late Marsellus and Vivian (Meredith) Boyce.

Worked for 30 years at the Silverton Sewing Factory. was member of the Neighbors Quartet for 20 years. Mary Lou, loved sewing, singing, puzzles, sitting on her front porch swing and most of all being around her family.

Survived by her daughter Shirley Exline and son Robert "Bob" Pursley and his wife Barb. Grandchildren Cristal Stoll her husband David, Tanatha Amos and her husband Jeremy, Cheryl Exline, and Calvin Exline and his wife Haylee. Great grandchildren Branson Amos and his wife Maggie, Lincoln Amos, Makayla Stoll, Madalynn Stoll, Melanee Exline, Jaxsen Exline and Leora Exline. Sister Linda Murray and her husband Larry. Special Nephew Kevin Boyce. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to both her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Eugene Pursley, brothers Marsellus Boyce Jr, Edwin Boyce, Charles Boyce and Ralph Lewis Boyce. Sisters Eileen Boyce, Gwendolyn Martin, Donna Boyce and Patricia Carney.

Services will be 2:00PM, Monday, March 31, 2025, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, March 30, 2025. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth
