Mildred Pauline Cline, 94, of Davisville, WV, passed away at WVU Medical Center Camden Clark.  Born in Burning Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Virginia Pearl  Vandall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Owen Cline.

A 1948 graduate of Wirt County High School, she attended Glenville State College and received a teaching degree.  She taught 2 years in Wirt County and 46 years in Wood County as a reading resource teacher.  She was a member of Cedar Grove Christian Church and was the last living charter member of Alpha Delta Kappa, Pi Chapter. She enjoyed flower gardening, crafting, shopping and always looking for a bargain.

She is survived by her son Steven Cline and her daughter Tina (Banks) Schott; granddaughters Lauren Cline and Morgan Schott, several nieces, nephews and cousins and family friends.

Visitation will be Monday, December 30, 2024, beginning at 11:00am until 1:00pm with funeral services to being at 1:00pm with Brooks Layman officiating.  Private graveside services will follow.  Matheny Whited Funeral Home was honored to assist the Cline family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to  the American Cancer Society.
