Paula Ash Cline passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at 10 Wilmington Place in Dayton, OH on October 21st.   Born January 7, 1944, in Parkersburg, WV, her parents were Paul and Wanda Ash, who preceded her in death, as did her brother Mike Ash. She is survived by daughter Lisa Cline Kukura (Jeffrey), son Robert Ash Cline (Tracy) and grandchildren, Carrie (Tyler), Madison, Bryce, Peyton, Andrew, and Logan.

Paula loved to be involved in her community, a member of Women's Club of Elizabeth, Elizabeth United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, United Methodist Women, and other organizations. She worked at RESA V in Parkersburg for over 20 years as the Finance Coordinator.

Paula married Russ the love of her life at age 18, and it would have been their 61st anniversary the day before she passed.  Russ was waiting for her, as she frequently kept him waiting. She loved being a Grammy, taking her grandchildren on trips, including WVU bowl games, which she loved to attend. Like Russ, she was an avid WVU fan.

She was a wonderful mother, Grammy, wife, and friend.  She had been in Memory Care in Dayton OH since late 2020.  The staff loved her as she would dance around, sing and was just happy and pleasant all the time.

Services are being taken care of by Matheny Whited Funeral Home with a viewing from 4-8pm Thursday October 26, with the funeral on Friday October 27th at 11am also at Matheny Whited Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601 or act.alz.org.  The family appreciates your prayers.
