Ralph Bain, 84, passed away Sept. 23, 2025, at Ruby Memorial, Morgantown, WV. Born in Burning Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Agatha Madeline Florer Bain and Robert Lawson Bain. He was a 1961 graduate of Wirt County High School, spent 6 years in the US Air Force and retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 35 years. He attended Independence Bible Church in Ravenswood and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Bessie Martin Bain; children Alex Bain (Paula) of Great Cacapon, WV, Eric Bain (Julie) of Greensboro, NC and Troy Bain (Amy)of Evans, WV; step-children Garland Martin (Becky) of Burning Springs, WV, Amanda Butler (Jeff) of Palestine, WV and Delores Winnell (Randy);4 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren and siblings George, Judy, Esther, Carol, Lois and Lola

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Patty Hopkins Bain, brothers Albert Bain, and Frank Bain  and stepdaughter Tonda Pursley.

Visitation will be held at Matheny Whited Funeral Home, Elizabeth, WV, Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and Friday, September 26 from 9:00am to 2:00pm with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery, Elizabeth, WV.
