Roger L. Hardbarger, 79, of Elizabeth, WV passed away March 10, 2025 at WVU Medical Center at Parkersburg, WV.

He was born in Ritchie Co., the son of the late Lawrence and Martha (Valentine) Hardbarger.

He worked at Mountain State Steel of Parkersburg, WV.  Roger enjoyed farming and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Barbara (Steve) Dotson and Rodney Hardbarger.  Companion Elizabeth Rockhold and her children Bobbie Rockhold and Eddie (Angie) Rockhold.  Grandchildren Christopher (Onalee), Dylan, Shyann and Carmyne.  Great grandchildren Alycia and Hazel.  Siblings Mae Clevenger, Bob Hardbarger, Denzil (Ginny) Hardbarger, Lawrence "Dickie" (Judy) Hardbarger, Eskey "Bill" (Vicky) Hardbarger, Ronald "Joe" Hardbarger and David Hardbarger. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife Opal (Barton) Hardbarger, and daughter Pam Hardbarger.  Siblings Ida Gay Roberts, Florence Roberts, Kenneth Hardbarger and Terry Hardbarger.

Visitation will be Saturday March 15, 2025 from 2-4pm at Matheny Whited Funeral Home.
