Thomas Paul Evans, of  Vincent, Ohio, went to be with his heavenly Father on March 28, 2024, after a long illness.  He was proceeded in death by his father Howard Paul Evans and his mother Cora Mae Evans.

Born and raised in Elizabeth, WV, he was a 1969 graduate of Wirt County High School.  Paul was a long-time truck driver.  Along with his wife Linda, he drove OTR Expedited Freight, traveling to 48 states during his career.  Paul loved his family and was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan.  He enjoyed watching football with his daughter and grandson and going to Warren High School football games and watching them march in the band. He loved going to old car shows and walking with his wife.  Paul loved watching his son and daughter-in-law race their car and watching his daughter-in-law at her horse shows.

Paul is survived by his wife of 42 years Linda Fay Evans; his son James Curtis Dietzel and his wife Jennifer and his daughter Hollie Mae Barton and her partner Tom Barton; his grandchildren Keara Layne, Shelbie Rae and Hunter Reese who shared a birthday with his grandfather and a brother David Ray Evans and his wife Kerrie.

Paul donated his body to Ohio State University for research.  There will be a celebration of his life April 13, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Matheny Whited Funeral Home in Elizabeth, WV. Interment will be at a later date at the Evans Family Cemetery, Fish Hatchery Road, Elizabeth, WV.
