Virginia Mae Gibson, 59, of Elizabeth, WV, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at WVU Medical Center Parkersburg WV. She was the daughter of the late Bobby Gibson Sr. and Diane O'Dell Gibson, was a1985 graduate of Wirt County High School. She was employed at the Elizabeth Care Center. Virginia was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed reading and Diamond art.

She is survived by her children Dianna Rhodes (Jay), Gandeeville, WV, Stephanie Hickel (Joe), Walker, WV, Boomer Laird (Courtny Hughes), Elizabeth WV, and Barbara Laird (Nate Fincham), Conowingo, MD;18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Bobby Lee Gibson Jr.(Marsha), Maryland, and Hank Edward Gibson, Linwood MI; 3 sisters Loretta Lynn Slusher (Frank), Mineral Wells, WV, Diane Marie Lowd (Scott), Red Lion, PA, and Barbara McWilliams (Scott), Vincent, OH.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM Monday, June 30, 2025, at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV
